We are going with you to the Kvemo Kartli region, which is spread across southern Georgia. These places are located on the approaches to the Lesser Caucasus Range. Here the nature is radically different from the views at the foot of the harsh Kazbeg, on the northern border of Georgia, or from the wine region of Kakheti, which is in the east, or from the subtropics of the sea coast of Adjara in the west.
Here pastures crown deep canyons, dense mixed forests cover the hills and hide the sources of noisy mountain rivers, which in Soviet times people blocked, creating turquoise reservoirs for irrigating land and maintaining fish farms.

For several years, an Israeli company has been working on a government project to create an unusual observation deck in the shape of a diamond, suspended like a necklace over the canyon itself.
