This excursion will appeal to all those who love heights, views of rock formations, deep gorges and are looking for places to get into and explore for themselves.
We are going with you to the Kvemo Kartli region, which is spread across southern Georgia. These places are located on the approaches to the Lesser Caucasus Range. Here the nature is radically different from the views at the foot of the harsh Kazbeg, on the northern border of Georgia, or from the wine region of Kakheti, which is in the east, or from the subtropics of the sea coast of Adjara in the west.
Here pastures crown deep canyons, dense mixed forests cover the hills and hide the sources of noisy mountain rivers, which in Soviet times people blocked, creating turquoise reservoirs for irrigating land and maintaining fish farms.
