It is a very beautiful view point spot on the Georgian Military Road. The reservoir and its surroundings attract numbers of tourists and locals all year lone. Zhinvali Reservoir is a perfect place to unwind in nature, for a picnic or to escape from the summer heat. The expansive space and the blue-green, rippling water between the mountains create amazing views. Zhinvali Reservoir is located between Alevi, Gudamakari and Kartli ridges. Its surface area is 11.5 km² and the maximum depth is 75 m. The reservoir is of great importance for the water supply of the city of Tbilisi, it supplies drinking water to about half of the population of Tbilisi.
This fortress-complex belongs to the feudal era 14-18th centuries.
In the past, this place was the main key point of Aragvi Saeristavo, where it gathered, on the one hand from the north - Tergi-Aragvi valleys and on the other hand, from the middle of Kartli, the main roads coming through Dusheti.
The buildings included in the complex are: upper and lower fortress, fence, towers, Church of the Mother of God, Church of the Deity, “Mkurnali” Church, bell tower, octagonal cell and reservoirs.

Gudauri Ski Resort is located at an elevation of 2200 meters above the sea level. The natural conditions of Gudauri were the primal prerequisite for establishing a ski resort. The first ski lift was built in 1988. Today, there are 14 ski lifts. The bottom ski lift is 1993 meters MSL, and the upper one is 3276 meters MSL.
In Gudauri we stop at the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument. It was built in 1983 to celebrate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the ongoing friendship between Georgia and Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between the ski resort town of Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains.
This place has very nice wide terrace that allows you panoramic views on Kazbeg mountain and surroundings. In addition you may have lunch here on just drink coffee with desert while you are relaxing watching the Mountain. The restaurant cuisine honors traditional Georgian dishes inspired by the mountainous terrain alongside European fare. They work with the region, collaborating with suppliers in the local town of Stepantsminda to serve seasonal dishes passed down through generations.
Gergeti Trinity is located in Kazbegi municipality, 2170 meters above sea level. It is the most popular north destination in Georgia. The Trinity Church of Gergeti, with its history and location, is the face of Georgia - a Christian island hidden in the most beautiful nature.
If you visit the Gergeti Trinity do not forget that it is an active monastery first and then a tourist destination. So respect the rules of the monastery. Women should wear a dress and cover the hair with a headscarf. Men Do not enter the monastery area in shorts.
Gveleti waterfall, which can be translated as the Snake’s Waterfall, is one of the most splendid waterfalls in Georgia. It is located in Kazbegi, in the Gveleti village. There are many wonderful places and picturesque views all over the Dariali GOrge.
